The thirst for adrenaline began since the days when I rode a tricycle, trying to zip around as fast as I could. The need for adrenaline coupled with curiosity in how things work at a young age became the foundation which the life-long passion would eventually be built on. By the age of 12, the need for an adrenaline rush and curiosity to understand the mechanics behind cars turned into a strong desire to go racing.Despite not being able to drive yet at such an early age, the focus was turned towards understanding how cars functioned, vehicle dynamics, and racing techniques. Although racing experience can’t be obtained just from reading books alone at the background knowledge has provided a starting point for racing.
I first started racing when I was 16 and I still clearly remember my first time at an event. My first track day experience had all of the excitement and adrenaline I dreamt of. The track day was only a month after I had obtained my driver’s license and I used my parent’s car at the time which eventually became my current race car. Since then, I have participated in a variety of racing disciplines including Rallycross, Autocross, Pro Solo, Time Trial (Time Attack) Events, TSD Navigational Rallying and Drag Racing and a track day in a Formula Renault car. I have pursued my passion for nearly 10 years and I am still staring down my track and my dream of going into professional racing as a career.
In the future I wish to further my experience in Road Racing, Drifting and Rallying.
With some luck, talent and experience, I hope that my dream will take me to where I belong; in the seat of race cars.
